Floated Away-
a on going series produced with recycled mylar balloons

A collaborative partnership with the Fishers Island conservancy that serves as a beautifully sickening project.  The ongoing project has led to the public display and participation of over half a dozen pieces produced, with the mylar balloon.  Initially created as a symbol of hope and happiness,  they inevitably wreak havoc on the environment that they become entangled within.  The process of collection and organization begun during quarantine, in which I collected the balloons and organized donations from other volunteers  on Fishers Island. A special thanks to Micheal Klimziak with the Fishers Island Conservancy and Drew at Race Rock landscaping.
