Studio Senior Seminar

During this class we learned to develop our artistic voices. The all class critiques helped us learn how to mediate the comments of others. We've drawn inspiration from historical as well as current artists who help to illustrate a healthily practice of production.
The end of semester show has taught us the skills needed to display ones work publicly.
Exploration of Materials and Space

Developed skills needed for installations , installing art in a diverse range of spaces through a variety of lighting and material practices and techniques .
Worked together with other members of class, to further understand how collaboration amongst fellow artists works.
Art and Sustainability

Deepened our understanding of the elements and components that make up environmental based art.
developed skills in a variety of mediums, ranging from cardboard to casting.
Practiced skills needed for formulating writing on ones own artwork.
Baird Honors Practicum

Worked with local Carlisle Borough members to formulate a guide for them to follow and implement sustainable green space practices.
Developed social skills, as well as formal writing and presenting skills.
Communication and collaborations were also heavily practiced and tested.
